Dechen Rang Dharma Center Canada (DRDC Canada) was founded in Ottawa in 2025 under the guidance of Lama Drimed Rinpoche. It is the first Dharma center in Canada carrying the direct lineage of H.H. Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche, dedicated to preserving and transmitting authentic Nyingma teachings.

DRDC Canada is part of an international network of centres established by Lama Drimed Rinpoche. The first, DRDC U.S. (San Jose, California) was founded in 2005, followed by DRDC Taiwan in 2018. Each centre was created to offer genuine conditions for study, reflection, and meditation within the pure lineage of H.H. Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche.

All DRDC centres maintain a close relationship with Larung Gar Buddhist Academy, joining its major annual group practices and sharing in the vast collective merit of the Larung Sangha.

Guided by Lama Drimed Rinpoche’s compassionate aspirations, DRDC endeavors to uphold the lineage masters’ enlightened vision and to provide a supportive environment for practitioners’ inner growth and spiritual realization.
